Easy Berry Smoothie Recipe

As the weather gets warmer, I love a smoothie in the morning! I’ve shared my go to tropical smoothie recipe on here before but this easy berry smoothie recipe takes you back to the basics. I love a quick morning smoothie to get in your fruit for the day on the go!

I will say, this recipe is so easy thanks to my Ninja Blender. You can seriously just throw everything in and set it & forget it. This is such a high powered blender that it truly is amazing in the morning when you need to get out the door quickly.

Smoothie Recipe

1 cup frozen strawberries

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1 frozen banana

1/3 cup oats

1/2 cup walnuts

oatmilk (I start with about a 1/2 cup and continue to add as needed)

drizzle of honey

2 scoops Vital Proteins collagen (shop here)

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Because of the oats and walnuts, this is a slightly chunkier smoothie so if you’d prefer it smooth, omit them!

What I love most about smoothies is how easy they make it to get your daily nutritional values in. I don’t always reach for a breakfast in the morning or even a fruit so by making this I truly get everything I need in for the day and it’s only like 10am by the time I’m done!

My French Bulldogs Care Routine

One non-negotiable I have every Sunday is my french bulldogs care routine. I take about 30 minutes and focus on all things Sky to keep her happy and healthy for the week ahead. I’ve also found this routine has helped to keep problems like ear infections at bay because I’m taking care of her each week.

I am obviously not a vet but having Sky for 4 years now has made me realize how important a maintenance routine with your pup, especially a Frenchie can be. Teeth Brushing

This is probably the most important thing you can do for your pet but I know not every pup will let you do this. I started brushing Sky’s teeth as a puppy and she honestly just sits and lets me do it. The vet always compliments her teeth and how great the look and I know it’s from my weekly brushing.

Ear Cleaning

When Sky was a puppy, she would get so many ear infections and just gunk in her ears. Now that I clean them weekly, they have stopped and it’s truly easy to maintain. I put a squirt in each ear and let her shake it out. I then go in with a cotton round and just gently wipe an debris out!

These were vet recommended to us and I love them. Sky was having some weird gunk in her wrinkles and after using these they’ve been so much better. I will use these twice a week sometimes if I feel like she needs it but it’s great because you wipe it clean and then it helps to dry out the moisture which is the problem with wrinkles.

These are my favorite all over wipes for Sky. They’re fragrance free and so great for her sensitive skin. I use these when she’s muddy or just needs a like refresh in between baths!

This is probably the best bralette I have ever owned! It’s made from the softest material and is just perfectly comfy. It’s great to lounge in at home when you need a little extra support!

Easy Breakfast Muffin Recipe!

I love this recipe because it truly is so easy to make! This delicious breakfast muffin recipe as sausage, egg & cheese in it to make the perfect filling, on the go meal! These were a go to for me as a kid and now that I’ve rediscovered them, I am obsessed!

These muffins are only 5 ingredients and can be made in advanced and stored in the fridge or freezer! You only need a muffin pan and you are all set!

Ingredients:

2 Cup Bisquick

1 cup vegan cheese

1 box Brown and serve sausage

2/3 cup vegan milk

2 eggs

Recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Add bisquick to a bowl then mix in your vegan milk, eggs, and cheese.
  3. Microwave brown and serve just enough so you can chop it into small pieces.
  4. Fold sausage into the bisquick mix.
  5. Grease a muffin pan and then fill each section with about 1/4 cup of the bisquick mix.
  6. Cook muffins for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

I love to moisturize after every shower and this truly helps to make it so much easier for me! This is newer in my winter rotation but I have really come to love it. It’s so moisturizing and I love that I can use this as needed as a mask or keep it on as a true moisturizer. I’ve really been using it once a week as just my nighttime moisturizer and I really can’t live without it! It’s exactly what I need one a week to reset my skin.

I also did a few cards to other places for him like Home Depot, Amazon and Dunkin. Halloween Costumes from Your Closet

If you’re reading this on 10/30 when it comes out, I have the perfect post for you! I’m sharing my easy Halloween Costumes from your closet! These looks will use pieces you probably have in your closet with accessories you can grab easily!

Halloween is truly my favorite holiday but as I get older you don’t really know if you’ll need a costume. Of course you don’t want to be stuck with nothing at the last second so this post is for that. These are affiliate links so I do make a small commission if you purchase!

This is probably the easiest to throw together. Whether you’re going for black leggings, jeans or leather pants you definitely have the outfit to put this together. I’d pair any of those pants with a black long sleeve top and black boots. Grab a set of cat ears and add some whiskers with eyeliner and you’re good to go!

I think this is another easy one but you might want to double check you have a dress that works for this. You can really do like a generic princess which means you really just need a flowy dress. Sundresses would work great for this but you might just need to layer up if you’re going trick or treating. The only real accessory you need is a crown!

Unlike the other two, red is like the specific color you need to get this point across. You can use the same pair of black pants you used for the cat look but throw on some sort of red top for this. Maybe a red workout tank if you’re wearing leggings! Again, you can just pair this with a devil horn headband and you have the easiest look put together.
